Actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha was admitted to hospital in Mumbai, as he underwent a minor surgery.
As per a report by IANS, it has been learnt that the veteran actor had a busy schedule due to the recent Lok Sabha election campaign and his daughter Sonakshi’s wedding. Earlier, when Sonakshi had visited hospital with her husband Zaheer Iqbal, it had raised speculations about her pregnancy.
However, it was later confirmed by a source that the actress visited the hospital to check on her father. While there is no information regarding when will the senior actor be released from the hospital, it is said that he is currently stable and under observation.
The health emergency comes as a bit downer for the Sinha family, as they recently had two big reasons for celebration – Shatrughan’s Lok Sabha win and daughter Sonakshi’s wedding.
The actress got married to her longtime boyfriend Zaheer in an intimate wedding on June 23. Post their civil marriage, the couple hosted a grand reception at Bastian, Mumbai, for their industry friends. Some of the notable personalities to grace the star studded event included Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Raveena Tandon, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Aditi Rao Hydari, YoYo Honey Singh, and so on.
