Shantanu Maheshwari is all set to collaborate with Khushalii Kumar for a psychological thriller drama. Directed by Harish Raut, the film is titled ‘Crossfire’ and will take the audience on an astonishing journey of suspense and drama. The film promises to give an advanced cinematic experience with its gripping narrative and character development.

Crossfire is an intriguing film which revolves around the life of Ipsita Dhar, played by Khushalii and Shantanu as Bhanu Pratap Singh. Ipsita’s life takes an interesting turn when she crosses paths with Bhanu, who has recently escaped jail. Ipsita connects with Bhanu in a deeper sense. However, she also becomes a supporting element in Bhanu’s journey of redemption. Bhanu, who is navigating his life through betrayal, love, loss and emotional turmoil finds solace in Ipsita.

Filmmaker Harish Raut is exploring new spectrums in the crime genre. He promises to deliver a fresh and intriguing story, which will resonate with the audience. He tries to portray the complexities of human relationships and how even after facing adversities, people bind together selflessly.

Harish even shared insights about the film and stated that it’s a psychological thriller with human drama in the backdrop. He wanted young actors who could embody these roles, showcasing authentic emotions. They will also commence a workshop with the entire cast before going on the actual shoot. The filming will begin in October this year.

Crossfire is produced by Praful Parate and Yogesh Tidke under the banner of Sandsational Films Pvt Ltd. Salil Jason Fernandez has done the screenplay and dialogue writing. At the same time, Zaid Khan has designed the project.

Shantanu Maheshwari expressed his thoughts on reading the script. He said that he was drawn towards the film when he first read the script. His character challenges the ethics of morality. Shantanu’s character explores the dilemma of emotions and authentic moral values. The actor is glad to be part of the film.
