Shalini Passi talks about dangers of Botox for young generation; ‘It’s wrong because…’

Shalini Passi, the Delhi based philanthropist and art collector, was shot to fame post her appearance on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives season 3. During a recent interaction, she shared her concerns about the increasing trend of young girls getting Botox, emphasizing that it is harmful as their bodies are still in the process of development.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, while speaking about the young girls, specifically around the age 18-19, undergoing procedures like Botox, she said, “I’ve seen that it has become a trend among 18-to-19 year old getting Botox, etc. It is wrong because your body has not developed yet. Even getting things done at the age of 22 is not right.”

Shalini also pointed out that girls nowadays panic over their hormonal changes, which usually last for couple of days before settling. She also emphasized the value of self-acceptance, noting that true confidence comes from embracing one’s natural traits, whether it’s a grandmother’s hair or a father’s nose.

The social media sensation advised the younger generation to recognize that the lifestyle they look up to is not authentic, and is rather curated.
