According to recent speculations, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh would play Shaktimaan. The actor would purportedly play the title character in the Basil Joseph-directed film.

The film is planned to be released in May of next year. It intends to release in 2026. However, before going on this interesting journey, Ranveer will complete his duties for Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3. Shah Rukh Khan previously anchored the franchise.

If the reports are accurate, Ranveer would be quite occupied for the next two years.

“Ranveer will attend seminars to prepare for his role as Don. He regards this film as a tremendous responsibility because he will be the third generation of Don after Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. According to Pinkvilla, Farhan intends to release Don 3 in August or September 2024.

“Shaktimaan comes right after Don 3. The film has been in development for more than three years, and the crew has finally written a story worthy of Shaktimaan’s renown. According to the source, Basil Joseph will direct the film, which Sony Pictures India and Sajid Nadiadwala will produce.

Ranveer Singh was last seen in the Karan Johar-directed film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, along with Alia Bhatt.
