Shahid Kapoor was questioned why he chose darker parts in his movies back-to-back at the trailer presentation event. Since Kabir Singh, the actor, hitherto renowned for his chocolate boy looks and romantic plays, has gravitated more into gritty dramas and action-packed roles. He went to Raj and DK’s Farzi after portraying an irate young guy in the movie, and he currently has Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy. He was asked about his darker decisions as a result of this. “I have been married for eight years. I cannot take out frustration at home, so I go on the sets and take it out. Farzi was a warm-up and now this (Bloody Daddy).”
