Shahid Kapoor is all set for the release of his upcoming movie, Deva, wherein he will be portraying the character of a fearless cop, sporting a bold ‘massy’ look, in an action-packed role. Throughout his career, the actor has earned a reputation for making significant changes to his hairstyle for different roles. During a recent chat, Shahid revealed if he fears shaving his hair, and said, “Jab bachpan mein bachhe ka mundan hota hai, tab toh koi nahin puchta hai ki baal wapas nahin aayenge.”
During an interaction with ANI, the actor talked about his various hair transformation and explained that, as an actor, one must learn to “sacrifice” the things they are most known for. He added that he has always considered his hair as a significant part of his personality, especially in his early years when he had a lot of it and a boyish look.
Shahid explained that once you start letting go of things that have been central to your confidence, you will realize that true confidence does not come from these external features.
Upon being asked about any moments of hesitation or doubt when it came to shaving his head for a role, the actor laughed and explained that no on questions whether hair will grow back when a child undergoes a head shave. He added that as per the popular belief, shaving your head makes you hair grow back better.
