Shahid Kapoor’s fans are buzzing with excitement as the actor recently unveiled the first teaser of his upcoming action thriller film, Deva. The teaser was unveiled at a grand event, leaving the audience thrilled and building immense anticipation.
Speaking at the teaser launch celebration, Shahid described the movie as “made for people” and one of the most challenging roles of his career.
The actor compared his character to the city of Mumbai and said, “The madness of Mumbai’s Deva reflects the madness of Mumbai itself. The character’s name is Dev, but the A makes him Deva. All of us have two sides within us – a Deva and an Asur. This film explores the duality of one character.”
Drawing comparison to Mumbai, he mentioned that the city is quite similar as it has beauty, but also edge. Mumbai gets its unique charm due to this contrast, say Shahid.
“This is a film for the people. We’ve crafted it with the audience in mind, inspired by their lives and experiences. It’s a story everyone will connect with,” noted Haider star.
Meanwhile, Deva will also feature Pooja Hedge in the female lead opposite Shahid.
