Shahid Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, Deva. The actor has been busy with the promotions of the movie and during a recent chat, he talked at length about the anxiety he felt while hosting an award show with Shah Rukh Khan.
Similar to his cop character in Deva, the actor does not hold back when it comes to sharing his perspective on film industry. He is now making headlines for calling out actors who are excessively self-important.
During his appearance on Raj Shamani podcast, he was asked how he makes his opinion about people and spot ‘who is who’. He noted that he notices other people’s facial expressions. “Aate hain kuchh log aise, ki main aa gaya hun types. Woh dikh jaata hai bro, 30 seconds mein pata chal jaata hai. When they enter a room, they want to make you feel like they have entered the room. It’s okay, it’s a room full of people, you have also entered, chill bro. Toh woh toh hai, there are lots of people who have this,” he stated.
The clip has gone viral on social media and users on Reddit decided to decode who the actor is talking about. While some believe that he has taken a dig at Salman Khan, several think it’s Kartik Aaryan.
One user on Reddit shared, “Is he talking about Salman.” To this, a Reddit user commented, “No, he is talking about Karthik Aryan. I have seen him put that fake pout whenever paps are around.”
