Shah Rukh Khan has made it to the Hurun India Rich list for the first time, as per the reports. The actor has joined the list of 334 individuals whose cumulative wealth stands at Rs. 159 lakh crore, and it also includes businessmen Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani, as per CNBC TV18. The Economic Timess reported that SRK has registered a wealth of Rs. 7,300 crores. The major contributor to wealth is his ownership of an IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders and his production company Red Chillies Entertainment.

Additionally, King Khan enjoys major brand value with 47 million followers on Instagram, which offers him lucrative endorsement deals with multinational brands such as Hyundai, and Thumps Up (Coca Cola). Apart from this, he also profits from his real estate investment in properties in Mumbai, London, and Dubai.

Movie Salaries

Known as King of Romance or Badshah of Bollywood, SRK commands high fees for his roles in films. For example, he earned around $12 million (Rs. 100 crore) for his 2023 Jawan. His consistent box office performance ensures that he remains the top-most paid actor in the industry. Moreover, he commands around $18 million to $30 million per movie.

Red Chillies Production House

As the founder and CEO of Red Chillies Entertainment, SRK generates significant income from producing films, TV shows, and other media projects. The production house earned a net profit of approximately $10 million (Rs. 85 crore) in FY23, resulting in a major source of income for the superstar.

It must also be noted that Red Chillies is involved in various aspects of film production and distribution. The production has spread its wing into successful OTT content and their VFX division is also one of the most advanced in India.

Real Estate Investments

King Khan has also invested in several real estate properties. His Mumbai residence, Mannat, is valued at around $28 million (Rs. 200 crore). Additionally, the star also own luxurious properties in London and Dubai, which significantly adds to his net worth.
