Shah Rukh Khan will release a teaser for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani to commemorate Karan Johar’s 25th anniversary.
Karan Johar is marking his 25th year as an Indian film director with Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. His career began in 1998 with the Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji-led Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and he is now preparing up for a family drama featuring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. Pinkvilla has learned exclusively that Shah Rukh Khan would release the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani teaser to commemorate Karan Johar’s 25-year career.
Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have a long history, and it’s fantastic that SRK has agreed to digitally launch the teaser. He has always supported Karan and vice versa. In reality, SRK made a cameo appearance in Karan’s most recent film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. “When Karan approached SRK to be the dignitary for the teaser launch, it was an instant yes from his end,” a source close to the situation claimed. It is his first collaboration as a director with Ranveer Singh, and his second with Alia. Interestingly, this is also Dharma Production’s first collaboration with Dharmendra on a film. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani will be released in theatres worldwide on July 28. The teaser will be released on June 20, followed by a song and, eventually, the full trailer in July. “The team has created a tight 40-day campaign for the film and is now ready to release their core assets on the digital globe.
