Shah Rukh Khan, who is known for being a family man in the industry, has always helped people every now and then. King Khan is one of those Indian citizens who pay the maximum amount of taxes in the country and enjoys quite a big fan following inside and outside India.

He was recently in the news for the belated Eid wish he shelled out to his fans, for which many fans were upset from him. Now, we hear, he has extended support for Cyclone Amphan relief.

His team Kolkata Knight Riders announced on Twitter a relief package that included planting 5000 trees as well as an undisclosed contribution to West Bengal Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Shahrukh Khan said, “We must stay strong through these testing times until we can smile together again.”

In another initiative, ration and essential hygiene items will be distributed to the needy across four most-affected regions — Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas and East Medinipur. These measures will be undertaken while maintaining social distancing and using the necessary safety equipment.

Recently Shah Rukh Khan had shared a glimpse of his lockdown lessons, “That we have been living far beyond our exigencies, most of which don’t really matter as much as we thought they did. That we really don’t need (emotionally) more people around us than the ones we feel like talking to while we are locked up.”
