This is customary that every Indian hoists tricolour on 15th August and besides it is the Bollywood tradition, which is also celebrated by Shah Rukh Khan on Independence Day. The actor, every year, flies kites and hoists the tricolour in the terrace of his house, Mannat. SRK took to his Instagram handle to share a picture featuring his wife Gauri Khan and children Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan with the tricolor in the background.
He captioned the post, “Let’s celebrate our beautiful country India with pride in our hearts…. Happy Independence Day and love to all!!”
Besides SRK, many other celebrities, such as Vicky Kaushal, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, and Ajay Devgn also took to their Instagram Stories to share photos of tricolor flag to celebrate Independence Day.
Meanwhile, on the work front, SRK will be next seen in movie King, wherein he will be sharing screen space with Abhishek Bachchan. The movie will also be featuring his daughter Suhana Khan.
