Shah Rukh Khan was photographed arriving at Mumbai airport on Thursday. The actor just arrived from London, where he was shooting for Dunki alongside Taapsee Pannu. The actor, who had previously avoided the cameras on multiple occasions, did not do so this time.
Shah Rukh was spotted with a long camouflaged jacket and a white t-shirt in a video uploaded by a paparazzi account. He is accessorised with blue jeans, silver sneakers, and sunglasses. He also donned a cap to disguise his unkempt hair as he went out of the terminal with a water bottle in his hand. Pooja Dadlani, his manager, was present in the footage. After catching sight of Shah Rukh after a time, a fan commented, “King has returned.” “Bollywood ka Badshah,” another fan remarked. Many people have also used heart emojis to welcome the actor’s return.

Dunki, helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, is Shah Rukh and Taapsee’s debut collaboration. After the film began production in April of this year, the cast had already completed the first schedule. Several BTS photos of Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, and Rajkumar have leaked online from London, and some of them even revealed the actor’s initial look. Taapsee Pannu told Pinkvilla about working with Shah Rukh Khan, “I’ve told him (Shah Rukh Khan) that he is the yardstick or the guy that any outsider, especially coming from Delhi, looks up to.” Although I am not a superstar, he is. I don’t think to work with superstars like him makes you realise what the stakes of the words fame or star are.”
JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films are responsible for producing Dunki. In April, Shah Rukh released a video announcing the movie. The movie will debut in theatres on December 22, 2023. But before Dunki, Shah Rukh will appear in Atlee’s Jawan and Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, both of which will be released in 2023.
