There was a time in Shah Rukh Khan’s career when Abhijeet Bhattacharya had almost become his voice. The collaboration of two artists resulted in some of the most memorable songs, that fans cherish even today. However, their relation hit a rough patch and since they have not been on good terms for many years now. They had a public fallout and Abhijeet claimed that he did not receive enough credit for all those songs of SRK.
Now, in a recent interview, the singer has hinted towards a possibility of reconciliation. “We are made for each other, like husband and wife.” He mentioned that SRK and him are ideal for one another as he spoke about their chemistry and their successful collaboration. He noted that their reconciliation is much more important, at least for the sake of music.
The singer went on to claim that the actor did not have any memorable song since they have had a fallout. “After me, Udit [Narayan] and Kumar Sanu sang for him, but the songs were not at par with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai or Darr,” he stated.
While he stated that he never had any close bonding with SRK, as they would only meet at formal events as music launch events, but expressed that the superstar should have initiated the step for reconciliation.
