Selena Gomez clears comments about her Disney past, said I’m beyond proud of the work that I did

While answering that if she had any hesitation to star in TV series again, Selena said, “No, definitely not. I was looking for another show to do. And by the way, I’m beyond proud of the work that I did with Disney as well. It kind of shaped who I am in a way.”

Selena Gomez, who is nowadays seen promoting her upcoming show, Only Murders In The Building. During one of the conversation, spoke about her Disney career and stated that it was a sequence of “signing away” her life to them and not realizing what she was committing as a young actor.

“I was a kid I didn’t know what I was doing, I was just running around on set, and now I feel like a sponge and I soak up all the wisdom that I can’, she stated during Television Critics Association press panel. Subsequently, the comments which were made jokingly by her banged a stir. The singer has to elucidate her point in a new interview.

While speaking to RadioTimes, Gomez claimed that she is “beyond proud” of the project, she has done in the past. Selena was backed by her costar Steve Martin, who commented, that he was there when Selena said that “signing away” her life to Disney comment and it was in the”light-hearted, funny, jokey way.”. In the same conversation, Selena further added that she felt lucky that she was taken care of and had a positive experience while working at the age of 15 on the Disney show and also mentioned she is grateful for it.

Gomez’s upcoming show, Only Murders in the Building stars Steve Martin and Martin short alongside her. The series talks of a tale of three strangers who share a tendency for crime, get together to unravel a case when a crime takes place in their apartment building.
