
On Tuesday, actress Sara Ali Khan marked her Cannes debut by walking on the red carpet for the Louis XV historical drama ‘Jeanne du Barry’, starring Johnny Depp as the main lead. The international film is released at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
Sara walked on the red carpet in a blond lehenga with traditional touch.While asked by the journalist of Brutt Cannes, Sara began with her iconic Namaste and revealed that she always wished to be at the Cannes and she is feeling very nervous.

When asked about her attire details, Sara stated that her lehenga is created by Anu Jani and Sandeep Khosla by keeping the traditional Indian touch. Her lehenga holds the beauty of Indian fashion designers. She further adds, she always took great pride in showing Indianness and this look describes her as young, fashionable, and yet Indian.
When asked about the positive aspects of attending such international gatherings, she replied, this events help theIndian artists to gain recognition overseas. The world becomes smaller and it also helps for the blending of cultures.
She also posted pictures on her Instagram feed with th caption, “You Cannes do it”.
In the work front, Sara’s Gaslight was released on 31 March. Her upcoming movie “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke”, in which she plays the leading lady of Vicky Kaushal. It will release on 2 June 2023 in cinemas.
