Sanjay Dutt saddened by trolls around ‘Sadak 2’ trailer, will complete dubbing before leaving to US for cancer treatment

After being diagnosed for lung cancer, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is likely to leave soon for the U.S to begin with hid treatment. The actor has quite a few movies in his pipeline, which would be completed only after his return. On 11th August, Sanjay took to his social media handles to announce that he will be taking a break from all the movies due to his medical issues. Further, the actor had decided that he will be completing the remaining dubbing parts for his upcoming movie ‘Sadak 2’.

The movie is a sequel to  1991 blockbuster ‘Sadak’ and is due for an OTT release at the end of the month. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bedi and Aditya Roy Kapur.

IANS quoted a source close to the film’s production saying, “Sanjay will complete the last leg of dubbing for his film Sadak 2 by next week, before going on a medical break. He is overwhelmed with the outpouring of love coming his way ever since the news of his illness came out. This support is motivating him, even more, to give his fans his best through his work.”

‘Sadak 2’ has been brutally trolled and bashed on various social media handles, due to which the trailer of the movie on YouTube is the most disliked video.

The source further told that this issue has affected Dutt alot, and that he is quite upset with all the reactions the trailer has received.  “He is very saddened by the negativity that the trailer of the film has received as ‘Sadak’ holds a special place in his heart. It is a heartfelt emotion for him, not just a movie. He is hoping that people will rise above the trolling and hate, and look at the movie for its story and performances,”
