A notice sent in the name of Dr Mondal, through legal advisor Nripendra Krishna Roy, complains that The Great Indian Kapil Show has allegedly tarnished the legacy of Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore and hurts sentiments related to culture and religion. Rumours of Salman Khan’s production house being served a legal notice are doing the rounds, but the company’s representative has come out in a clear statement and said that it has no affiliation whatsoever with the show aired on Netflix.

Salman Khan’s representative, makes it clear in the statement that they have no linkage with The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix. It also mentioned that a certain media houses’ reports of the actor or his production house have received notice are incorrect.

The statement by Salman’s team further said that the production house is not a part of any rests, operations of the show that airs on Netflix and is not impacted in any manner in the legal notice.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming movie Sikander. The movie is being helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala, and also features Rashmika Mandanna opposite Bhaijaan of Bollywood. The movie will mark second collaboration between actor and director after Kick.
