Salman Khan’s wedding has been one of the most discussed topics of Bollywood. While the actor has always seemed unbothered about it, there was a time when he was serious about it. Director Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife Warda Nadiadwala recently shared an interesting anecdote related to her wedding. She recalled that the actor was supposed to tie the knot on the same day as their marriage, but he ditched them at the last minute.

While talking to Connect Cine, Warda said, “It was the day after our wedding I got to know about it. I asked Sajid, ‘Ap dono kya baat kar rahe the?… There was a long banter between them on stage. So… he told me, ‘we were supposed to get married on the same day but he backed out. He (Salman) was saying Grandson, the car is at the back, let’s run away.’ He was very sweet. He greeted me on stage and congratulated me. Then it hit me, ‘Oh, so this is what you guys were talking, ‘Let’s go grandson, the car is parked behind us’. This is what they were talking about. Sajid revealed to me all this only the next day.”

Upon being asked who the girl was Salman was supposed to marry, Warda refrained from answering it but shared that it has been revealed on Kapil Sharma show.
