Salman Khan recently received fresh threats wherein he was was asked to give an apology at Bishnoi community temple or pay Rs. 5 crore. The police has began conducting a search to identify the accused.
It has now emerged that a 32-year-old man claiming to be a follower of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has been arrested in Karnataka. He has been arrested in Karnataka, as per the reports by PTI. He has been identified as Bhikha Ram or Vikram of Jalore in Rajasthan. The accused was handed over to Maharashtra Police on November 6.
According to the agency, the officer of Haveri Police Anshu Kumar disclosed that one person has been arrested in Haveri Town following the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad input. Police sources informed this correspondent that the man had shifted to Haveri about a month and a half ago and before that, he had been staying in different parts of Karnataka.
As per the news agency, police sources have stated, “The accused was watching a regional news channel when he suddenly called the Mumbai Police control room and issued a death threat to Salman Khan. He is a daily wage worker and claims to be a fan of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.”
