Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is the talk of the town as it gets ready for release on December 22! The film has Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the key roles and is directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF.
SS Rajamouli recently had a lighthearted interview with the team during which several intriguing details and difficulties with the movie surfaced. “What’s the worst thing about working with Prabhas?” he even jokingly questioned Prashanth and Prithviraj.
Prithviraj gave a very funny response, “Dieting is impossible! My family visited, and I had to book an extra room just for food! My daughter, she’s nine, asked Prabhas if all my uncles and aunts were visiting too!”
He also remembered that when Prabhas lamented missing his cars, he had jokingly asked to borrow his Lamborghini. The performers’ friendly banter emphasised their natural friendship.
Speaking from personal experience, Prashanth Neel said, “When I explain a scene to Prabhas, he doesn’t question it. This initially confused me, as I usually bounce ideas off him. He’s fantastic with the dramatic aspects, and I soon realized he questions only 1% of things. But when he mentioned the first and last scene of Salaar Part 2 needing to be identical, I was surprised! He didn’t ask about other scenes, which was tough for me. In KGF, I was used to scrutiny, but here, his trust made me doubt myself! So, the worst thing about him is his excessive trust in me.”
Additionally, the interview provided hints about Salaar’s future. While Prithviraj acknowledged that talks on Part 2 are still ongoing, no date has been established. Additionally, he said that the second movie will be even bigger than the first.
More about the Prithviraj Sukumaran-Prabhas movie Saalar:
Prashanth originally narrated the two sections as a single film, but the film’s size and intricacy required it to be divided into two parts. Beyond its main actors, Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire features an amazing ensemble cast that includes John Vijay, Tinnu Anand, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eeswari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Mime Gopi, and many more.
In the meantime, this interview revealed the amusing relationship between Prabhas, Prithviraj, and Prashanth in addition to providing an inside look at the film’s production. When Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire opens in theatres on December 22, it promises action, drama, and lots of fun.
