Salaar: Prabhas opens up about working with Prashanth Neel, says, “He is the best director I have worked with in two decades” 

Prabhas’s upcoming film Salaar: Part One-Ceasefire will be released on the 22nd of December. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Hasaan in lead roles. The movie is set in the fictional town of Khansaar. It will explore the lives of two childhood friends, who land up in drastic circumstances.

The Bahubali fame shared some insights about his upcoming film in an interview with The Hindustan Times. Prabhas stated that the audience has never seen him play such rugged characters and it will be exciting for him to see his fans’ reactions. He even went to workshops to get into the skin of the character he was playing.


When asked how was his experience working with Prashanth, Prabhas replied with good praises. The actor remarked that Neel is the best director he has worked with in two decades of his career. He added that playing the character in Salaar was challenging for him and it was an overall new experience for him.

Salaar’s runtime is 2 hours and 55 minutes. The film has been granted an A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. The movie is filled with action-packed scenes and fans will be taken aback after every sequence. It is themed around intense combat but involves many emotional elements at its core.

The film is held with high hopes by the fans as this will be Prashanth’s next directorial after KGF. Fans are even anticipating a superhit comeback by Prabhas, whose recent films couldn’t do well at the box office. Salaar is produced by Vijay Kindgandur.
