Ibrahim Ali Khan is all ready to debut in Bollywood! After a brief spell working behind the camera, the star child will soon be seen on the big screen, following in the footsteps of his father Saif Ali Khan and sister Sara Ali Khan.
Ibrahim, the second child of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is ready to showcase his acting prowess. Ibrahim will reportedly make his Bollywood debut in a movie made by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. The movie, tentatively titled Sarzameen, has been called an emotional thriller and will have the star kid as the lead.
A source told India Today that the emotional thriller movie will start shooting primarily around February 24 of this year, even if the release date has not yet been set. The source stated that pre-production work for the movie is already underway and that the producers are prepared to begin shooting. Prithviraj and Kajol are also expected to have major roles in the movie.
Ibrahim made a cameo as a young Bachchan Pandey in the 2008 movie Tashan, but Sarzameen is his first Bollywood movie. Ibrahim reportedly served as an assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar’s feature, in addition to his impending debut movie. The movie was originally scheduled to hit theatres on April 28 of this year, but that date was changed to July 28 of 2023 to avoid competing with Mani Ratnam’s eagerly anticipated Ponniyin Selvan: II.
