Actor Saif Ali Khan who recently turned 50 a few days back says he is not feeling any mid life crisis for now.
During a podcast with Neha Dupia No Filter Neha, Saif said, “Every year is bonus. Fifty is petrifying. A friend of mine said you can see the end of 50s and then 60s and after 70. Everyday is a bonus. My father died at 71, my grandfather died at 41 so at some point I think you can sit back and say it’s been a hell of a ride. I am quite happy with how its gone and it shouldn’t be that dissatisfaction that I didn’t do anything. Mid-life crisis is not happening because obviously I have done stuffs, so I can’t complain”.
Saif also expressed how thankful he is to his mother, veteran actor Sharmila Tagore that he has inherited good genes from her. “So I am just relieved my mother looks young and I feel I have inherited her genes, so I might be able to fool people into looking 50 when I am 60”, he added.
Saif celebrated his 50th birthday with Kareena, Taimur, few of their close friends and family members. He is also writing his autobiography and it is supposed to be out in October, 2021 published by HarperCollins.
