
Saif Ali Khan’s team has issued yet another statement in wake of attack, that happened during the early morning hours of Thursday. The actor’s house in Bandra West was intruded by a thief, which resulted in him sustaining six injuries, including deep cuts, with one near his spine. Saif was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, where he underwent surgery.
The latest statement confirmed that the Race actor’s surgery is completed and he is out of danger. It read, “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently in recovery and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe and the police is investigating the incident.”
Earlier, a statement was issued by the team, which confirmed the attack and surgery, while mentioning that the other members of the family are safe.
The reports have suggested the incident happened at 2.30 am on Thursday, and while the intruder was about to enter Jeh’s room, the kid’s caretake saw him and screamed for help. This alerted Saif, who was asleep, and he rushed out of his bedroom, and indulged in scuffle with the thief.
