The stabbing incident involving Saif Ali Khan has caused significant concern throughout the nation, especially his family. His sister, Soha Ali Khan, on Sunday, shared an update that Saif is recovering well. While the earlier reports indicated that the actor will be discharged today, recent updates from doctors have something else to say.
As per a report by ETimes, the hospital officials have confirmed that Saif will not be discharged today. Dr. Neeraj Uttamani, who is handling his treatment, informed the portal, “No, Saif will not be discharged today. Further updates will be provided within half an hour, and the family will also release a statement. He is doing well.”
Earlier, a purported health insurance claim document of Saif was leaked online, suggesting that his expected discharge date as January 21. However, India Today reported that the actor could be discharged as soon as January 20, if his vital remains stable.
Meanwhile, Mumbai police has been investigating the intruder attack and has apprehended the main accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, 30, a resident of Bangladesh. He was arrested from Thane, Maharshtra.
