Sahil Anand pained by Divya Chouksey’s death, writes, ‘You will be missed badly by your bhaiya’

Actor Divya Chouksey left for heavenly abode on Sunday, July 12 2020, after battling with cancer. The news broke out on social media after her cousin posted a message. The world couldn’t accept the sudden demise of the actor, and her friends and family took it to social media to express their grief and shock, which included filmmaker Sahil Anand.

Filmmaker Sahil Anand, in an interview with PTI, about the late actor Divya Chouksey recalled how the actress used to call him ‘bhaiya’. The duo worked next to each other and played the role of siblings in Divya’s debut film Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara. “I had a word with her last week on a video call and she was in a very bad state. I figured she won’t survive for long. Yesterday she posted that story and today she passed away.” Sahil told PTI.

The filmmaker also revealed that the late actor was being fed through a food pipe. He adds that the worst part of the interaction was not hearing her speak, because she was a very talkative person.

Divya suffered from Pancreatic cancer and had recovered earlier. But since the start of this year, the actress had a relapse and fell critically ill. While mentioning Divya’s personal characteristics, the filmmaker described the late actress as a person filled with positivity and the one to motivate the others.

Before leaving for the heavenly abode, Divya had taken to her official Instagram handle to break the news for her followers. The message read, “Guys, I have been hospitalised, not in the state to even talk, my cancer is killing me, pray for my easy passing. Sorry just unable to reply. Love to all”.

Anand expressing his grief and mourning the loss on Instagram wrote a heartfelt message for the late actor, “You will be missed badly by ur bhaiya @divvyachouksey …. ur passion, ur dream, ur go-getter attitude, ur positivity towards our industry was unmatched to anyone I have met but maybe god had some other plans for u …I m sure you are in a better place now and in peace …ur bhaiya loves you and will always love you… I miss u DC 💔….you will always be alive in my memories and in my heart.” Here is the post:
