Legendary singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam breathed his last on Friday and passed away after his COVID-19 treatment. A lot of celebrities from all over the country mourned for his demise. Funeral of veteran singer took place in his farmhouse situated in Thamaraipakkam village of Thiruvallore district, with full police honours as announced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami.

S.P. Charan, son of Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan recipient S.P. Balasubrahmanyam confirmed to the media about the sad demise of his father on Friday noon. Singer’s body was taken to his home from MGM Hospital where several people gathered to pay their last respect to the veteran artist. In his Thamaraipakkam farmhouse, the singer was laid to rest.
S.P. Balasubrahmanyam was fighting his battle with Coronavirus since the month of August where on Thursday his health condition had deteriorated drastically.
