The report says, all the rumours about the actress Urvashi Rautela being in the second part of Rishab Shetty’s Kantara are ‘baseless and untrue.’
On Saturday, sharing a picture with actor-director Rishab Shetty, Urvashi Rautela on Instagram wrote, “#KANTARA2 @rishabshettyofficial @hombalefilms loading #RS.”
“All the rumours around Urvashi Rautela casting in Kantara 2 are totally baseless and untrue. Recently, Urvashi Rautela just happened to be on the same premises as Rishab Shetty, where she requested to meet the Kantara fame and he politely obliged. She posted the picture clicked with him with a cryptic caption, giving rise to these completely false rumours,” revealed a source close to the production house.
One of the biggest hits of 2022 was ‘Kantara’. The second most earning Kannada movie ever was the result of the Rishab Shetty production’s positive word-of-mouth buzz. The news of “Kantara’s” sequel has been highly awaited following the film’s success.
In “Kantara,” Rishab plays a Kambala champion at odds with Murali, a moral forest ranger (played by Kishore). In the coastal Karnataka town of Keradi, the narrative is set and filmed.
