After getting injured while filming his new web series, director and producer Rohit Shetty was recently hospitalised in Hyderabad on Saturday, January 7. He was admitted to Kamineni Hospital to undergo a minor surgery and later given a discharge.
According to Rohit’s spokesperson, “Rohit Shetty suffered a minor finger injury last night while filming an action scene for his upcoming web series Indian Police Force. The wound was attended to right away. And soon after the incident, he resumed shooting. The “Golmaal” filmmaker suffered a hand injury while filming “Indian Police Force” in the Ramoji Film City, outskirts of the city.
Speaking of the web series, “Indian Police Force,” which will debut only on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video, stars Sidharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra in the lead roles.
The series’ Delhi schedule has previously been completed by the producers. The series has yet to begin streaming in its entirety. Sidharth and filmmaker Rohit Shetty make their web series debut with “Indian Police Force.”
The Indian Police Force is a really special project for me, and I’ve been working on it for years, Rohit has stated. I’m excited to work with Amazon Prime Video to bring this story to life so that it can be seen by audiences everywhere. This collaboration will allow us to break down geographical and linguistic barriers.
Rohit’s most recent period comedy, “Cirkus,” which starred Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles, failed badly at the box office.
‘Singham Again,’ which features Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, will also be directed by him.
