RIP: Salman Khan’s Ready actor Mohit Baghel dies of cancer, Parineeti Chopra mourns on Twitter

We want to fast forward this year as soon as possible. We have lost our dear ones on the way, our beloved stars and people whom we loved and admired. After Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Shafique Ansari, Manmeet Grewal, another actor has taken heavenly abode.

Salman Khan’s co-star in the movie Ready, Mohit Baghel, who had been a part of several Television shows and popularly known as ‘Chhote Miyan’, passed away this morning to cancer.
A source said and confirmed, “Mohit was in his hometown Mathura and passed away this morning as his health deteriorated and none of the hospitals admitted him because of the Covid-19 scare”.

Reportedly Mohit was getting his treatment and chemotherapy done in a hospital in Noida but in unfortunate events, he passed away this morning. Breaking the news for people over internet, writer-director Raaj Shaandilyaa tweeted, “मोहित मेरे भाई इतनी जल्दी क्या थी जाने की? मैंने तुझसे कहा था देख तेरे लिए सारी इंडस्ट्री रुक गयी है जल्दी से ठीक होके आजा उसके बाद ही सब काम शुरू करेंगे, तू बहुत अच्छी एक्टिंग करता है,इसलिए अगली फिल्म के सेट पे तेरा इंतज़ार करूँगा…और तुझे आना ही पड़ेगा ॐ साई राम #cancer RIP”.

Mohit Baghel has recently worked with Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra starrer ‘Jabariya Jodi’ and after watching Raaj’s tweet about Mohit, Parineeti tweeted, “One of the nicesttt people to work with! Happy, positive and motivated always. Love you Mohit. RIP #JabariyaJodi”.

Apart from doing comedy show ‘Chote Miyaan’, Mohit had been cast in various films including Ayushmann Khurrana starer ‘Dream Girl’. But he is most remembered for his comic role in the movie ‘Ready’ which starred Salman Khan. The role of a villain in the movie garnered praises and love from the audience for Mohit.

Besides, Mohit even recently bagged a role in the upcoming release ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Chhote Miyan has tickled our funny bones for years by doing such performances and he will be remembered in all of our hearts! May his soul rest in peace!
