Actress Rhea Chakraborty shared the screenshot of a user who sent her rape and death threats on social media. The actress has been constantly humiliated by Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans ever since the actor’s sudden demise on June 14, 2020.
Rhea Chakraborty has broken her silence on all the criticism coming her way. The actress has called out people for calling her terms like ‘gold digger’ and ‘murderer’. “I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet I was called a murderer ….I kept quiet I was slut shamed ….I kept quiet,” read a part of her post.
Sharing a screenshot of a direct message received on Instagram, Rhea called out a troll who threatened murder and rape. “But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut ?” questioned the actress.
The actress further stressed that no one should be harassed in such manner and wrote, “Do you realize the seriousness of what you have said? These are crimes, and by law no one, I repeat NO ONE should be subjected to this kind of toxicity and harassment .I request @cyber_crime_helpline @cybercrimeindia to please take necessary action. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” read her post.
