Over the last couple of days, Alia Bhatt, a popular Bollywood actor, has been busy shooting a film, but she found time out to attend the wedding of one of her close friends, Devika Advani. I believe that both photos and videos from such events like haldi and sangeet ceremonies have been shared on social media and everyone likes it. The actor, on her part, has been playing the bridesmaid’s part to the hilt – always ready to step in and willingly taking on whatever role she is asked to play. For the mehendi function and sangeet she opted for a pastel coloured lehenga choli outfit while for the wedding she was spotted in a vibrant navy blue sharara which she styled like a saree and completed her look with a pink choker neckpiece and a maang tikka. As expected, the Gully Boy actor made heads turn on the night.
However, the new pictures from the wedding session presented online and one of them clearly shows Alia attempting to hide tears. Reports suggest it is from ‘bidaai’ ceremony but we are not certain about it From what ceremony are the following originated, you may ask? They can see her in a navy blue dress that was also described earlier. As some of you might have remembered on Friday, pictures and video of her applying haldi on the bride and the bridegroom went viral. There is also a video in which Alia with other friends danced on the occasion of the function. Alia also shared a picture of the bride and bridegroom on Instagram and wrote: “There’s no better feeling than watching your best friend marry the man of her dreams AND her best friends dreams This wedding was all things beautiful.. Can’t belive my baby girl is married I love you guys..”
Never the less, Alia had also posted a ‘then and now’ picture along with Devika where they were taken from their childhood. Other than Alia, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor who frequently hangs out with the actor for lunch or dinner dates in Mumbai also shared many pictures from the many ceremonies that were held. On the other hand, Alia’s last film Gully Boy is doing fantastic at the box office and has collected ₹ 100 crores mark. Indian actress Alia has also received a lot of accolades for her performances in this movie, as well as the other actors in the film, Ranveer Singh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
