Veteran actress Rekha is asked to home quarantine as four more staff tests positive for coronavirus. Few days ago, one of her security guard was tested positive. The civic body BMC sealed parts of her bungalow as well as put up the notice too. Her bungalow has been sanitised also. Rekha’s bungalow is situated in Bandstand area of Bandra and is named as Sea Springs.
BMC has put up a stamp on her hand for home quarantine. She has been advised to take the swab test for safety reasons. A civic official told Hindustan Times that Rekha did not want BMC to test her. She informed the body that she will get a test done on her own and submit the report to them.
On the other hand, the Bachchan family is undergoing treatment for coronavirus in Nanavati Hospital. All the family members except Jaya Bachchan were tested positive few days ago. Anupam Kher shared the news that her mother is now tested negative. Yesterday, Sara Ali Khan‘s driver was tested positive and she shared the news on Instagram. She added, “My family, other staff members and I were tested negative.”
The increasing case in COVID-19 has affected around 8 lakhs people in India. It has been advised to use masks and practice social distancing to avoid catching the virus.
