Ravi Kishan gets Y+ security after receiving threats threats for speaking on Bollywood drug nexus

After receiving threats, the actor turned politician said that he would continue to raise his voice for the sake of the youth of this country.

Ravi Kishan had asked the Uttar Pradesh government to provide him with Y+ security after he started receiving threats. The actor turned politician had spoken up about the alleged involvement of Bollywood and drugs, because of which he received a few threatening messages. The government on 1st October accorded Y+ security to actor and BJP politician.

Ravi Kishan took to twitter to thank UP CM Yogi Adityanath for providing security for his ‘family & the people of his constituency’ and said that his voice would continue to echo people’s thoughts. He wrote ‘Respected Maharaj ji, with my security in mind the Y+ category protection you have activated for me, my family and the people of my Lok Sabha constituency have made us indebted to you and we thank you for it. My voice will continue to resonate in the House.’

Earlier, on 14th September, Ravi Kishan had raised the drug case in the Lok Sabha. In response to that, the actor and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan had launched a sharp attack on him. She said that she completely disagreed with those who called the entertainment industry a “gutter”, referring to a comment made by Kangana Ranaut. She said, “People who have made a name in this industry have called it a gutter. I completely disagree and I really disassociate,” she said. She further added that she was “really embarrassed and ashamed” after Ravi Kishan’s statement in the Lok Sabha on the alleged Bollywood drug nexus.
