
Raveena Tandon was the crush and heartthrob of many in the ’90s with her movies such as Andaz Apna Apna. She is still an extremely relevant part of the film industry and will soon be seen in a powerful role in KGF Chapter 2. Talking to ETimes, the actress opened up about her views of the OTT platform, women-oriented content and more.
She feels that OTT has brought a balance when it comes to the roles for males and females and she like that. Raveena Tandon also added that even though there were women-centric movies in the past, it wasn’t there in this high a proportion.
When asked what filmmaker she would choose if she was debuting today, she said she would want to be part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film. She revealed that she was glad to be doing magnificent roles when movies such as Highway are being made.
Raveena also talked about how the first time she had seen herself on the silver screen, she had only thought about how to improve it.
” It was a very long time ago when I was just a 16-year-old. It was a shampoo advertisement. I saw the ad on the television, not on the silver screen. It was a strange feeling. I have always been extremely critical of myself. Every time I see myself, I only criticize myself. I never really had a feeling of elation. It was just like, ‘What else can I correct about myself?” she said
