Ranveer Singh shows his gratitude towards acting career; says, “I wake up in disbelief that this is my life – that I am an actor”

Ranveer Singh who has been there for 12 years in the film industry, still considers himself quite inferior more than what he really is and this is what the actor had himself humbly affirmed.

Versatile renditions with top notch skills, spectacular energetic screen presence, holding multiple records be it the record of being recipient of several awards, including five Filmfare, or be it the honour of getting featured in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list since 2012 ; Nothing prevailed sufficient enough to make the persona feel and to believe that he’s an actor.

Though he has multiple times been trolled and trivialised for his queer fashion statements and sheer craziness his humbleness is rarely smeared and drawn into the concensus while it’s worth mentioning for it implies the actor to be one in millions.
Yes, we are talking about the ‘#Khalibali_dil’, “Khilji” of Bollywood Ranveer Singh who has been there for 12 years in the film industry, still considers himself quite inferior more than what he really is and this is what the actor had himself humbly affirmed, that he’s still not familiar with the honorary title of “actor”.

Speaking about the matter, Ranveer said, “I am just grateful that I get to be an actor and that’s actually enough for me. I have always said that it’s a miracle that I even became an actor. These types of experiences are beyond my wildest imagination. Sometimes, it feels surreal. And that feeling continues till date. Every day, I wake up in disbelief that this is my life – that I am an actor and I get to do these things, collaborate with these talented filmmakers. And it all adds up to an overwhelming amount of gratitude that I have for the opportunities and blessings that I have.”

On the workfront, Ranveer Singh’s transformation into Kapil Dev for 83 had earned him a lot of lauding and appreciations, followed by a Best Actor award at the recently held Filmfare Awards.

Adding to his further statement the actor says, ‘It feels surreal and fulfilling in equal measures. At this moment I’m remembering my coach, Mr. Balvinder Singh Sandhu. I really miss him and his contribution to 83, one really can’t describe in words. He’s the heart of 83. You know when we see the emotion that he has attached to that story of 83, to his teammates, you can’t not work out of a very different place in your being. When we, the cast of 83, saw what it meant to Ballu sir, that is what transmitted to all of us,’

The next appearance of Ranveer Singh is reported to be in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus’ and Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ in queue.
