Adding yet another feather to his cap, Ranveer Singh debuted two self-portraits at the esteemed Madame Tussaud’s Museum in London. The actor has already garnered numerous honours and recognition for his competence in his work.
Today, on December 18, Ranveer Singh created a carousel of images on his Instagram account that showcased his two wax figures from the famous Madame Tussaud’s Museum in London. The actor posted the happy news to his social media family and wrote a heartfelt statement to go along with it.
In a lengthy message, he said, “Growing up, I was fascinated by old photos of my parents alongside some of the world’s most famous & prominent personalities, only to realize that they were wax figures at London’s famed Madame Tussauds. The allure of that mythical museum stayed with me, making it surreal to now have my very own wax figure there. Gratitude fills me as my figure stands amongst the most accomplished personalities in the world. An unforgettable moment, compelling me to reflect on the magical cinematic journey that has led me to this moment.”
In an official statement, the ecstatic and charming actor conveyed his enthusiasm on the occasion and described being with his mother to debut his own figures at Madame Tussauds London as an “incredible moment.” Ranveer continues, “It feels like life has come full circle today. I remember reading in wonderment about this mythical, magical place as a kid, going through my Mum’s early pictures with popular celebrities’ figurines here and wondering what this place is all about.”
“Today, being immortalized as a figure in the company of such esteemed individuals is a remarkably proud feeling for me and for my family. There is a lot for me to be thankful about this year and I am so grateful for everything.”
Interestingly, the actor selected the unique styles and characteristics for his figures and was actively involved in the entire creative process. With the neon sherwani, the London figure honours Ranveer’s culture and background. The striking ensemble is made up of hundreds of intricately embroidered details, such as the flamboyant leopard head shoulder design and triple-layered necklace made of pearl and diamonds, as well as eight sizable gemstone set rings.
The Singaporean figure, on the other hand, sports an exquisite tailored tuxedo with a velvet coat and flower accents.
