Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan to follow 10-day shoot schedule for Brahmastra

Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy adventure action Brahmastra which was delayed due to the pandemic is back again for a 10-day shoot in Mumbai.

Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy starrer Brahmastra which is directed by Ayan Mukerji, is one of the films that got delayed due to coronavirus pandemic. During the seven months of lockdown, Ayan Mukerji has worked on the editing and visual effects of the film while coordinating with teams across the globe.

On Monday (2nd November), the team kick-started a 10-day shoot in Mumbai, bringing the total amount of shooting days to 183. However, it has been reported that the two songs with the lead couple will be shot in January.

A source revealed that it was a conscious decision to shoot the two songs in January as Ayan wants to them on a grand scale with lots of background dancers. The team is optimistic that the on-going scenario will change by then. Meanwhile, they are exploring other mediums which won’t compromise with the visuals.

The film was earlier slated for December 2020 release but now the final release date announcement will depend on the theatres in India and around the world reopen with a good number of audience.

In the film, Ranbir plays the role of Shiva, who has the power to emit fire from his hands while Alia will play his love interest Isha. Nagarjuna plays the role of an archaeologist with Bachchan as RK’s guru and Mouni Roy will play the role the antagonist.
