Former MP and actress Jaya Prada is making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The Superintendent of Police has been given orders by Rampur’s MP/MLA court to arrest the politician. The court has ordered the police to form a special team and arrest the actress. Accordingly, they are supposed to present her in court.
As per a recent report by IANS, it has been known that senior prosecution officer Amarnath Tiwari stated that the former MP did not reach the court on Monday, the day of her hearing at court. This has happened even after a non-bailable warrant has been issued against her for the seventh time.
Actress Jaya Prada is escaping from two cases which are related to violation of the code of conduct. However, this isn’t the first time that she has landed herself in legal trouble. Last year, the actress was found guilty in an old case by the Chennai court. The actress was given imprisonment up to 6 months and a fine of Rs 5000.
The case was being registered against her for not paying ESI money to the workers of her theatre. It was reported that she admitted to the charges and also assured to pay the long remaining dues. She was even seeking the dismissal of the case, however court declined her appeal and imposed a fine and 6 months imprisonment on her.
Jaya Prada whose real name is Lalitha Rani Rao is a known personality in cinema. The actress was prominently recognized for her roles in movies during 70s’, 80s’, and 90s’. However, she rose to fame from an iconic dance song in the Telugu film Bhoomi Kosam in the year 1974.
The actress has been part of many well-known Telugu and Tamil films such as Rama Krishnulu, Dasavathaaram, Srivari Muchatlu, Chanakya Chandragupta, Rama Vanavasam, and Jeevitha Khaidi among many others.
