Recently, it has been reported that Rakul Preet Singh is all set to commence shooting for the sequel of her upcoming film De De Pyaar De. The original movie was released in 2019 and featured Rakul and Ajay Devgn in the lead.
Jackky and Rakul will prioritise their work commitments and keep a hold on their honeymoon plans. The report suggests that Rakul will begin shooting for the second instalment of De De Pyaar De from mid-May.
De De Pyaar De 2 will showcase Rakul joining the star cast Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who also featured in part one. The first instalment was directed by Akiv Ali and the script work was done by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain. The film attained a decent amount at the box office and received mixed reviews from the audience and critics.
The second instalment will be directed by Anshul Sharma, who will also have his directorial debut. The film will be based on a romantic-comedy genre and will make you laugh throughout.
