Rakul Preet Singh leaves ED office after getting questioned for six hours

She was accompanied by her chartered accountants to elucidate her financial accounts in Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai state reports.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh on Friday was called by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) about a drug and money laundering litigation. The actress reached the ED office in Hyderabad at 9 am and was examined by them for about 6 to 7 hours till evening.

The actress was formerly, questioned by the NCB after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. According to the police investigation, Rana Daggubati and Rakul Preet Singh were however present at a party where drugs were distributed, this is why they’re being examined. The actress was also asked about her association with a person named Kelvin. She was accompanied by her chartered accountants to elucidate her financial accounts in Hyderabad, Delhi, and Mumbai state reports.

Earlier on Tuesday, Director Puri Jagannadh and actress-turned-producer Charmme Kaur were also summoned in connection to drugs and money laundering cases. Puri Jagannadh was enquired for ten hours while Charmme was questioned for eight hours.

Rakul was seen taking off the building and removing her mask after she got into her car. The actress was also seen holding a file as she stepped into the ED building on Friday morning, probably documents were her financial reports. The investigation is however not over yet.

Moreover, a private club manager has also been called for his connection in a money-laundering case associated with the drugs racket. Rana Daggubati, Ravi Teja, Charmee Kaur, Navdeep, Mumaith Khan are among the celebs who are summoned by ED to appear between August 31 and September 22.
