Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani exchanged vows in an Anand Karaj ceremony, a Sindhi-style wedding is yet to follow

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani are married now. The couple exchanged vows in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony on the 21st of February in Goa. After a lot of buzz going around the couple’s wedding, they have finally tied the knot at ITC Grand South Goa. A Sindhi-style wedding is yet to follow.

The ceremony took place in the presence of friends and family members. Celebrities such as Shilpa Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, and Ayushmann Khurrana were also present at the event along with directors such as David Dhawan, Luv Ranjan and Dinesh Vijan.


According to a report by India Today, Rakul’s Chuddha ceremony took place in the morning. While their 7 Pheras were scheduled after 3:30 pm. The couple will marry in two styles- Sindhi and Anand Karaj, reflecting their different cultures. The report further stated, “The couple’s choice for an early evening wedding reflects the couple’s desire for a bright and cheerful start to their marital journey.”

The couple is expected to pose for the paparazzi outside the hotel premises. Moreover, they will share photos and videos post they get done with the wedding ceremonies. Rakul and Jackky’s pre-wedding festivities started on the 19th of January, and today they got married.

The couple have been dating for quite some now and made their relationship official in October 2021.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rakul will next appear in Indian 2 alongside Kamal Haasan. The film stars Bobby Simhaa and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles. The first part of the movie was released in 1996 and starred Haasan as an aged man who fights against corruption.

On the other hand, Jackky Bhagnani is awaiting the release of his upcoming production venture Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film is slated to release around Eid 2024. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film stars Akshay, Sonakshi Sinha, Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead.
