Ritesh Singh, the ex-husband of Bollywood actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi Sawant, has stated that she has cancer in her uterus. Rakhi was hospitalised in Mumbai on May 14, and various photos of the actress lying in a hospital bed have gone viral on social media.
It was previously stated that Rakhi had been diagnosed with a ‘heart illness’; however, Ritesh has now informed the public that doctors have discovered a growth in Rakhi’s uterus and suspect it is cancer.
Ritesh told News 18 that Rakhi was transported to the hospital after complaining of stomach and chest pain. She had various tests, and the results are pending. “Doctors have proposed a surgery, but they want to check first if it is cancer or not,” he stated.
On Wednesday, Ritesh revealed Rakhi’s health update, stating that her condition is ‘serious’.
“Rakhi has made an image of herself because of which people always feel she is joking. But this is not a joke. People call her drama queen but this time it is serious. She is critical in hospital,” Ritesh is heard saying in a video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram.
He also asked everyone to pray for Rakhi and wish her a speedy recovery.
