Rajkummar Rao, who is currently riding high on the success of his latest film Stree 2, has always been a die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fan, but would he like to build a brand-like image, just as SRK has? The actor recently appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast where he was asked, while the biggest stars are always associated with a word, for example – SRK equals love – what would he like to be associated with? Rajkummar, answering this, said maybe he hadn’t thought about it. Then he added, “But I don’t want to be in that trap. I don’t want to be a slave to that… I’m an actor. I have to be a chameleon, I have to change myself.”
When the host asked, “Maybe he’s like this in real life, but maybe it’s also important to be a little strategic about how you appear in public… Do you think that’s for you?” The actor was quick to respond and say that acting is an art and all the artists are creating something. “I am not a product. I am a human being who feels those emotions. It’s a very internal process,” Rajkummar said. The 39-year-old said that he does not view himself as a product or brand and would rather look in the mirror ‘only’ as an artist.
Meanwhile, Stree 2 also starred Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role.
