Rajinikanth, Kamal Hasan, Chiranjeevi and many other celebrities proudly showcase their ‘Tiranga’ on the auspicious occasion of 76th Independence Day

Superstar Rajinikanth, Kamal Hasan, Megastar Chiranjeevi and many other celebrities from the South are seen celebrating independence on twitter.

From Kashmir to Kanyakumari ; the ripple of patriotism could be felt all across India encompassing the “Azadi ka Jashn”, 76th Independence Day of India. Besides the Bollywood, the southern actors are seen too to come forward to show respect to their motherland through their respective social media handles and felicitating the country people with elated wishes.

From the “Robot man” Rajinikanth to “Chachi 420”, Kamal Haasan; From megastar Chiranjeevi to mighty R. Madhavan, Twitter is weltering with instances of the delightful and proud celebrations of Independence.

Last Sunday, Rajinikanth took an initiative resembling “Har Ghar Tiranga”,  urging Indians all across the globe to teach their children to hoist national flags in their corresponding home, workplaces and institutions as a symbol of respect towards the martyrs, freedom fighters, and as a manifestation of the country’s integrity and dignity.

Rajinikanth himself and Chiranjeevi too found hoisting the National Flag in their corresponding home terrace in their tweets.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan entreats through his message : “Let us take a vow not to forget history. Let us recall with gratitude the services of the brave freedom fighters of yesteryears and the personnel of the three armed forces who stand guard at our borders to enable us to celebrate this day. Courage and sacrifice is meant for everybody. Let us inculcate these.”

The tweet by the actress and politician Khushbu has also emphasized the martyrs and their contribution through it’s columns.

Another actress Aishwarya Rajesh, writes, on Twitter: “This Independence day, let us take a moment to remember with gratitude the sacrifice of so many freedom fighters who so selflessly laid down their lives for the sake of our country’s freedom!! Happy Independence Day!!”
