As per the recent developments in Raj Kundra’s pornography case, there are four key witnesses. These are the employees of Viaan firm owned by Raj Kundra. According to a new report by TOI, these employees were asked to delete certain obscene clips from the Hotshots app. Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in the production and streaming of pornographic content via the same app.
The report also stated that these employees will confront by the official in the presence of Raj Kundra. An employee of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has also been involved in this case. However, there was no official statement given by the Crime Branch regarding it.
Raj Kundra’s lawyer, Subhash Jadhav stated that he will appeal for bail to the High court. According to TOI, the lawyer called the arrest ‘illegal’ and supported it by saying, “Raj Kundra’s arrest is illegal. There is not a single video that can be called pornographic. A 4000-page charge sheet has been filed but the police were not even able to point out any sexually explicit act in the video which demonstrated illegality under section 67a. The rest of the sections applied are bailable. The Supreme Court had earlier released Munawar Farooqui on the same grounds.”
Actress Shilpa Shetty had also defended her husband by stating that he is ‘innocent’. She also added that the content on the apps was ‘erotic’ and not ‘porn’.
Raj Kundra was arrested on July 19 and has been named as the ‘key perpetrator’ in the case.
