R Madhavan, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie – Hisaab Barabar – recently revealed in an interview that he feels horrible on the first day of a film’s release or its publicity.
During an interview with SCREEN, the actor was asked if he finds OTT liberating due to absence of box office pressure, the actor said, “Thank God for that. I get nervous by the hour as I get closer to a release. In fact, the two most horrifying moments for me in my career are the first day of shooting—it’s getting progressively difficult—and the first day of publicity and release because everyone is watching, and I feel they’re saying, ‘Nope, you’ve lost it; that’s it, game over.'”
He also expressed gratitude for being able to play lead role even after 25 years in the industry. Madhavan noted that it is not easy to survive 25 years in a industry, where people go “obsolete in just 25 months.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor is also working on Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, which features multi star cast. Apart from Madhavan, the movie features Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
