Priyanka Chopra’s Citadel faces major backlash for insulting Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales

As of now, no arguments have been made by Priyanka or the Princess regarding the controversial dialogue.

The Citadel show has been in the news for its spectacular plot and direction. Yet again, the Amazon Prime show has acquired a lot of controversies as the series is proceeding. Citadel revolves around two spy agents who have lost their memories and are called upon similarly to disclose a nasty organization, while they will steer through their past.

Priyanka Chopra is acting as Nadia Sinh with her partner Mason Kane. In the third episode, she tells him to meet the crime master Balduino Basto to harmonize their deal with the military. In a particular scene, the dealer goes as, “The chief of armed forces? You might as well have asked me how to get between the legs of the Duchess of Cambridge!”

The then Duchess of Cambridge officially ascended to the position of Princess of Wales after her father-in-law ascended to the throne of the United Kingdom as H.M. King Charles III.

H.R.H The Princess of Wales, Princess Katherine ascended to the title of “Duchess of Cambridge” through her marriage to H.R.H the Prince of Wales, Prince William in 2011. She was still holding the position when Priyanka and her entire team were shooting for the first season of Citadel. It had also caused more tension as PC is considered to be close friends with Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, who is sister-in-law to H.R.H Princess Kate. The actress was also invited to her wedding to Prince Harry.

As of now, no arguments have been made by Priyanka or the Princess regarding the controversial dialogue. But some furious netizens have taken it seriously as they have commented on the scene. Amdist, the ongoing tension, it remains the matter of the question of the dialogue will be slammed for the insult of the royal princess or it might be taken as a  matter of joke.
