Actor Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce on Saturday. The former couple had been together for 15 years and have a son named Azad, they have decided to co-parent their son. A fews later Aamir Khan’s daughter from his first wife Reena Dutta, Ira Khan shared a mysterious Instagram.
Ira, 24 took to her Instagram and shared a story that seems to have a cryptic meaning behind it. In the picture, Ira can be seen lying on her bed dressed in a dark blue tank top along with her eyebrows raised. The caption of the story read, “Next review tomorrow!….What’s it going to be?”, she added. She also added a pastry G.I.F leaving the viewers in wonderment.
For the unversed, Aamir Khan had two kids from his first marriage with Reena Dutta, a son Junaid and a daughter Ira. They separated in 2002. Later, on December 28, 2005, Aamir Khan tied the knot with Kiran Rao. After announcing separation on July 3, 2021, the duo is now looking to a new journey of their as co-parents.
They issued a joint statement saying, “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other.”
